2024 Kia Telluride Having to Wait after 2023 Is Launched

There is no update for 2024 Kia Telluride because the company is still focusing on developing the 2023 model. Yes, auto enthusiasts who want to know more about the possibility of future technology (including the possibility of electric power) for the 2024 model need to relax. There won’t be any official launch or confirmation because the Korean auto company is still working on the 2023 model.

It seems that the 2023 model would be coming with a redesigned work, which makes it different from the 2022 model. That’s why they may need a longer timeline to focus on the new 2023 model. So, anyone wants to know about the 2024 model, they can pay attention to the 2023 model first. It’s always possible that the upcoming 2024 model would be inspired from the previous year design, or it may be a carryover model when the 2024 model is finally launched.

About the 2023 Telluride

There are many rumors flying about the 2023 Telluride, saying that it is seriously updated – which leads to some redesigned and refreshment work. The updated vehicle was spotted first in 2021 (in July) when the prototype was wearing a heavy disguise. Since then, there hasn’t been any news or updates, except for a trademark filing that leads to predictions that Kia is likely making a (rugged) X-Pro trim. It’s a good thing that another prototype was seen in northern Sweden just recently, and from this one, we can see more details along the line.

The Physical Changes

Many have stated that the most obvious update happening to the Telluride is to the front. The headlights are coming with new daytime running lights from LED. Because of it, the turn signals are also changing. As a result, the overall new appearance has enhanced the vertical layout (of the overall lighting clusters). The DRL rectangular model (which is found on the current model) is gone and it is replaced by two parallel light strips. They are located on top of the main beams.

Not only the lights that are getting some changes. It seems that the grille is a bit tweaked a bit. If you see through the mesh disguise on the front, you should see a redesigned grille (still with the familiar honeycomb pattern). However, the pattern is now vertically arranged, instead of being horizontal. In 2022 Telluride, there is updated corporate badge, still hidden on the center of the grille. It seems that the bumper will also be changed, but the details about how it is going to be are still unclear.

Is it possible that the 2023 changes will continue to the 2024 Kia Telluride? No one can tell. However, if the company believes that the 2023 model has better visual and aesthetic than the 2022, then it’s likely that they may use it for upcoming designs and productions.

The Possible Interior Look

Although the spyshots can’t really define clearly what’s happening inside the cabin, there are some interesting facts being revealed. It seems that the dashboard also gets a redesigned job. Although no one is sure about it, it seems that KiaOpens in a new tab. is thinking about installing the screens side by side, just like what they do with the Sportage. Moreover, it seems that they are removing the tablet-like infotainment screen, and replacing it with a touchscreen.

Release Date and Price

The mid size 2023 Telluride SUV is likely being unveiled before 2022 ends, being set as the 2023 model. There is no information about the exact release date as well as the price range. But it is obvious that there is info or whatsoever about the 2024 Kia Telluride because the company is still focusing on the 2023 model.
